Using the techniques that live on in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, the town of ceramics, Ceramic Japan has had a strong commitment to design and has turned the ideas of its designers into reality through its technical capacities.
Designed by Oki Sato from Ceramic Japan. A dress-up series that replaces "hairstyles and clothes" with "flowers and vases." This L-size dress-up vase has an atmosphere reminiscent of a father. The outside has a bisque finish without glaze. When viewed from one side, it looks like a simple vase, but on the other side, the lip of the vessel has a different collar shape. It comes in white and coloured colours and uses a technique called kneading, which involves adding pigments to the clay itself.
As every piece has its handmade feature, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
