Our journey began with a profound family trip to Japan in November 2019.
Kelly took on the role of a translator, passionately sharing the captivating stories and culture behind Japan, where Kelly grew up. Meanwhile, Gimo was instantly drawn to the country's homeware shops and discovered the beauty of Japanese retail service—particularly the meticulous attention to detail in product wrapping.
This memorable experience rekindled Kelly's connection to her Japanese background and reignited her appreciation for Japan's rich history and craftsmanship. It is a trip that sparked a deep connection to our roots and inspired us to create Osara Australia in 2020.
