It is not a simple flat and thin plate, but with details adjusted so it does not wobble and has a stable shape.

The shape of the base with a narrow mouth makes it easy to arrange a single flower or branch. The vase body is made in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan's major pottery centre, where the glaze texture was created.

The colour of the tray is handpicked and matched by each artisan according to the colour of the vase base to create balance for the user.
